At last some sunshine! Let’s hope it stays for our first Open Afternoon on 6th April when we hope we will see you at the mill between 2 and 5 p.m., to enjoy a guided tour, home-made cake, tea and mill memorabilia.
Future dates for your diary this year are: May 4th, our first Event Day when the Morris Dancers will be performing and there will be a Beer Tent to quench your thirst. The theme for July 13th will be Country Crafts, possibly with a Local Art Exhibition and on September 7th a music theme will include, returning by popular demand, the Copper Family Singers with other musical attractions, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. Further Open Afternoons will be on June 1st, August 3rd and October 5th, 2 – 5p.m. More information as further attractions are booked. Do come and support us to help us raise the necessary funds to continue essential work on the mill.
LADIES! Do you have a couple of hours to spare on one or more of the dates above to help serve refreshments at our Event Days and Open Afternoons? You will be ‘working’ in a beautiful setting and with a happy band of volunteers. Please ring Marylyn Rankin on 01903 816573 if you are able to help.
