A beautifully restored, award winning, working post mill within the South Downs National Park in the heart of the glorious Sussex countryside, open to visitors.

The mill is owned, maintained and operated by Oldland Mill Trust, a registered charity number 1072911.

We are open on the first Sunday of each month between April and October.*

In May and  September, these are themed events with lots of special activities for adults and children.  A complimentary minibus, kindly provided by Burgess Hill School for Girls and Hurstpierpoint College, runs from the Thatched Inn Pub in Keymer for these events.

The windmill can readily be viewed from the adjacent public path.

On Thursdays, volunteers are normally at work on maintenance activities. Depending on the type of work being undertaken a guided tour may be possible.* However we apologise that this might not always be possible.

*For a minimum recommended donation of:-

£3 per person or £5 per family on Thursdays and in April, June, July, August and October

£5 per person or £10 per family in May and September.
